According to Schefter.
Let's see what he's got.

You know what?
Congrats to Marvin and Mike to having a plan in place for this happening.
They wasted no time. They got a veteran OC, that has a good track record, and a young, up and coming DC that many have said should do a great job. All of that is yet to be seen, but ultimately, the Bengals handled this exactly how it should have been done. They identified who they wanted as far back as last year with Hue knowing that Gruden was likely gone, and didn't waste any time. Same with Guenther. They knew that he was going to be their guy if Zimmer left, and didn't waste any time.
Very, un-bengal-like.
Under the circumstances it was probably the best move possible. I wish we would've shitcanned Marvin after this year but we all knew that wasn't happening. I think Jackson is an upgrade over Gruden and Guenther was ready to make the leap to DC somewhere. All in all, we lost our best coach but still have competent and qualified people in place.
