I haven't heard about their tackles yet. Sorry that it may sound like poor sportsmanship, but I never bought the BS about wanting the other teams best players to play and wanting to beat them at their best. I hope they don't play:hope:

Lol. I doubt they want Sean Lee playing either.

I've always said I'd rather play the other teams 2nd and 3rd unit.

The only player completely missing practice today is Joe Thomas. I don't know who was limited other than Adams due to still being in the concussion protocol.

Thomas has turned into a productive player. He was with Dallas before

Looks like Hitchens could be back. Wonder how much he will play. I think you need to leave Smith at the Mike this week. He still shows his inexperience and has so much to learn. I think if you move him around it will hurt him. Let him hone his craft more. Wonder what they will do when Lee is back and Hitchens 100%. Smith is putting up good numbers, but seems to make a lot of plays well behind the line. Hitchens had his flaws, but had a knack of hitting the hole and making big plays at the line in big spots which is what gets you off the field. Smith needs to make more plays moving forward. I guess with experience he'll start to see things quicker and it will make him even better. Right now Hitchens probably better Mike, but if playing both I think Hitchens will be the one to move.

Anthony Hitchens - LB - Cowboys
Cowboys MLB Anthony Hitchens (knee) is on track to return in Week 5.

Hitchens is ahead of schedule after he was given an eight-week timetable. He's practicing fully and should play in Sunday's game against the Packers. With Sean Lee sidelined, Hitchens' return will be an upgrade to a Dallas defense that's struggled to open the season.

Taped most of the game on NFL Network and just going to watch in a bit. Reading up on game and just saw this on Smith. Looks a little too harsh from what I have seen. We know his pass coverage is still lacking so far, but was he that bad? 6 completions is almost a 3rd of Goff's completions. I do agree with the tackles down the field as I just said that above. Kid is young, but still needs to be a little better if he is going to play consistently when everyone is healthy. Like him playing next to Lee and learning. Best spot for any young LB in the league to learn

Despite racking up 10 tackles (seven solos), Jaylon Smith was a total liability in both run and pass coverage on Sunday. The Rams singled him out in the passing game and repeatedly targeted him, which made him unable to make an impact.

According to Pro Football Focus, the Rams targeted Smith seven times in coverage and he allowed six catches for 68 yards. He just wasn't able to stick with the Rams' tight ends and running backs and Dallas' defense got exposed because of his lack of coverage ability.

In the run game, Smith was stuck on blocks all day and never made a tackle behind the line of scrimmage. According to Pro Football Focus, Smith is one of the worst-run defenders in the entire league. His average tackle came nearly 10 yards down the field on Sunday. He just couldn't impact the game at all as a run or pass defender.

With Sean Lee and Anthony Hitchens out of the game, Dallas needed more from their second-year linebacker and he just didn't provide much of anything. If Hitchens is healthy enough to play next week, he should walk into a starting role right away. It hasn't been a great debut for Smith.

Really good player. Always shows up
Love Mike Daniels. I think he is borderline criminally underrated but that keeps him humble. He and Clark are forming quite the duo on the DL. Just need Daniels to come back healthy.

Green Bay is always the team I hate to see because of Rodgers vs our D, but I just have a feeling the Cowboys are going to lay the wood to them this week

Montgomery is doubtful. Just got released. No word on Adams yet since he is still in the protocol.
