Right KD is obviously better and was at his peak as a Warrior. But he was here just 3 years and Klay is part of the core trio.

If it was my Warriors team no matter how damn good KD is I wouldn't want to break Steph & Klay up. Shooting & defense wins titles and those two were simply incredible before the injury bug got Klay.

Sure, but these aren't lists of starting 5s so much as best players ever. It's tricky for sure, that's what makes it fun to chat about.

Paul Pierce and KG are sad

If it was an all time starting I would have went with KD. Since it's the best franchise players gave the edge to McHale and his 3 rings. And I've never been much of a Pierce fan so it was easy to leave him off my list.

That will be interesting. I had Shaq and Lebron as kind of 5a and 5b...gave the edge to Shaq because of more titles and going into the HoF as a lAKER (which I don't see Lebron doing)), but could change it to Lebron if they get another title or 2 with him.

I mean even without a second title, Lebron is probably going to go down as the 2nd best player of all time. He's been in a Lakers uniform for 7 years now, got them a title and is breaking all sorts of NBA records as a Laker.

Now I don't ever see him passing by Kobe, Magic or Kareem, but he definitely has a shot to be in the top 5
