@Jordan23

Just wondering if you watched all of MJ's NBA career, how about his college career?

They take what they wanna hear. From the start my argument was about Lebron cs MJ in being humble as in Jordan didn’t call himself the greatest while LeBron does. After that they kept reaching and trying to twist shit up
I’d like to know how many alts they have?

Too obvious how they do the same thing…

As far as MJ floppin …

never saw him do it , if I did , I would have lost a lot of respect for him as I did after I saw Mahomo do it most recently

I honestly never witnessed an MJ flop, if he did F him.

Is that good guys? Am I in ?

Not sure what you want to be in but might be out....as a client of Jordan's. That's not a bad thing.

There's no doubt LeBron has flopped quite a bit, nobody would deny that.

But to act like he's the inventor of it or something is just strange.

Also…

Flopping has become an increasingly larger part of the game as years have passed.

Do players today flop more than players from previous generations?

Yes.

Because they have studied film, seen that these actions can draw favorable whistles and they have improved upon what older players used to do.

Does anyone here actually believe that MJ didn’t flop as much as current players out of respect for the game?

Or are we thinking that one of the greatest competitors basketball has ever seen would be using every trick available to him to get his team an advantage?

Jordan flopped back then, he would flop a lot more today because he would have learned to do it even better

Not only did MJ never flop, but he was even known to tell a ref he was a little overzealous calling a foul on his opponent and he did not deserve his FTs due to that respect for the game.

Exactly.

Was watching old clips breaking down the rule. Some of the spacing you would see back then to take advantage was absolutely stupid.

Saw an ISO play with the Jazz where they had Stockton and Malone on the strong side FT line extended and the other 3 players were standing above the 3 point line on the right sideline basically close enough to each other to hold hands.

And the help defenders are just standing and waiting above the FT line. For the inevitable pick and roll 2 man game.

Such bad basketball.

100

MJ ball huggers forget this is how a lot of the 90s went.

A ton more ball movement now.

Good point about film study. I wish players didn't flop as much but like you said it's part of the game.

And of course MJ flopped, only the biggest of homers would try to say otherwise.

Make up your mind

Did he flop for himself or the team ?

What?

I mean both.

But players are taught to do this now.

Earn an extra 2-4 FTs a game that is free points for the team.

Not so hard to understand.

You said he did everything for himself

He took the reigns

He would get pissed at his teammates if they did not do what HE wanted

Talk about Floppin

Nope. Taking quotes completely out of context.

I said he had to be in control.

Never once questioned his all consuming desire to win.

Earning extra FTs helps the team win and pads the player’s stat line.

He earned em cause he drew them by being driven to win

Nobody saying he didn’t.

What I am saying is that he would flop even more today and get to the FT line more.

The stigma around flopping is really dumb.

It is a good basketball play. Always has been, always will be.

I'm beginning to think you have reading comprehension issues. Because you didn't understand what he was saying at all.

That is fine.

And I would probably get you ejected.

Can’t help your team from the locker room.
