Yup I watched it. It was painful to watch of course as usual for EDM fans.

Sean Avery gave Smid a cheap shot during the game in a fight. Avery didn't want to fight him so Smid turned away, but then the little weasal dropped his gloves and sucker punched him. Smid didn't even get a chance to get his gloves off it happened so fast. When you watch it you'll see. After the game even his teammates didn't know what to say.... Not sure if the league will look at it. You never know I guess.

EDIT: The whole Avery cheap shot is what started a brawl afterward. Great hockey to watch.

They actually fought 2 times. The first time Boogard got some good shots in. MacIntyre I guess was upset at how he did in the first fight so he wanted a rematch. It was much better. He got the slight edge in the second.

Souray really could come in handy now that's for sure. EDM's defense is so damn bad.

I've posted this before, but it bears repeating and especially in light of the emails that have been revealed. I truly believe Campbell does a horrible job in the SVP of discipline role and wants to be replaced so that he can be a GM of a NHL hockey team.
