Hah. In legal terms what does "concurrent" mean? Does that mean it's 2 years total including any time previously served, or 2 years from this point?

i believe he got 3 1/2 years for Sheldon Kennedy and served 18 months then was pardoned in 2007. yep pardoned. our PM changed the pardon system after that to not allow sex offenders of minors to get pardons. (correct me if Im wrong on this)

now he gets less than what he got for one boy for 2 boys and a stay of charges on the 3rd boy......

he got a 2 for 1 sentencing. its fucking sick and disgusting and things like this make me ashamed.

In the judges summary today, it was revealed* Theo Fleury was molested/assaulted 80 times

(*although i dont know if this number is a revelation)

theres a sex offender registry but it probably has no teeth

last time they let James go to mexico and lord knows what he did to kids in that country during his time spent living there

It was given to him at our annual awards luncheon that June and after accepting the accolades for his stance against violence and for leading the Swift Current Broncos to the Memorial Cup less than two-and-a-half years after a bus crash took the lives of four players, Graham James later that night sexually assaulted Sheldon Kennedy in a hotel room paid for by The Hockey News

But to conclude that it's a Canadian problem is, I think, unfair.

The US has plenty of f'd up sentencing issues too.

well it is a canadian problem a major one. we are not comparing it to the states justice system but a lot of the sentencing we see for child molestation is pretty harsh in the US so its a good comparison. we know that all systems are fucked some more than others. ours is just so fucking lenient in so many ways

unless of course you rip off the government somehow.... (unless your already a politician)
