You should separate these player by player going forward, 'Top, like you started with.

We've got lots of time to kill this time of year, and the individual discussion on each is fun, but guys get skipped over in these group ratings, imo.

Just a thought...

With only 2-3 years left of elite production... Is Calvin ever going to have that MONSTER season? We've seen him have a 1900+ yard season and a season of upwards of 16 TD's in 1 season. But never seems to "put it all into one legendary season.

So the single-best season a WR has ever had in the NFL doesn't qualify as that one MONSTER season?

I no unnastan...

I imagine you are talking about the 1900 yard season in 2012?

It could be argued the year before was even more productive

Yards per catch
2012- 16.1
2011- 17.5

TD
2012- 5
2011- 16

Plays of 40+ (Game changers)
2012- 5
2011- 10

Fumbles
2012- 3
2011- 1

That's a good argument, especially on a per-catch basis, but the highest yardage total ever for a WR (with the highest single-game regulation total ever mixed in there for good measure) has got to be considered a monster season. There's no way it can't be.

I agree TP, I perfer the individual player posts better but I figured that someone would eventually complain about all of them. Plus, Im not getting the amount of responses that I thought I would, so I grouped them. I'll start that with the defense.

Lets focus on the pass catchers on this one. I'll include the TEs also.

C.Johnson
G.Tate
A. Ross
C. Fuller
R. Broyles
E. Ebron
B. Pettigrew
J. Fuaria

Use the grading scale I've provided below and from there, I will get the average score for each player after a day or two.

Rank 1-10 with 10 being the highest. Include percentages (.1.2.3.4.5) if you believe player is between certain levels.

1- Bad player. Should not be on a NFL roster.
2- Tackling dummy or jock carrier.
3- Nothing more than a practice squad player.
4- Low level backup player.
5- Quality backup or role player with no starting potential.*
6- Starter but easily upgradeable.
7- Mid level starter, with potential as a high level starter.
8- High level starter, with All-Pro potential.
9- Consistent All-Pro player.
10- Potential Hall of Fame player.ets focus on the pass catchers on this one. I'll include the TEs also.

C.Johnson - 10 The best ever IMO
G.Tate - 8.5 Baller
A. Ross - 3.8 Lost his mojo
C. Fuller - 4.5 Still raw
R. Broyles - Who?
E. Ebron - 6.5 I expect a huge leap next year
B. Pettigrew - 6.5 He is better than a lot of TEs in the league
J. Fuaria - 3.5 Puke!

shit, shit, shit, shit

What does Error Ewrong think his Madden score should be this year? :pound:

Take whatever they give Pettigrew then subtract 10 and that should be about right.

Dr Eviler is super pissed lately. Hopefully you are getting plenty of Vitamin D during these dark and cold winter months.

I get lots of vitamin G when it's cold and snowy. Helps keep me from getting depressed that my snowbanks around the driveway are taller than I am...

Yeah, that Dallas game was sweet as hell. Can't hate on that. Just so damn weird out of 122 catches only 5 went for TD's

He didn't score in a W all year. Given, he only had four games to do that it, but still. Garbage Time is great for meaningless yardage. Ask Bell, his YPC was great that year for the same reason.

Not to be misunderstood. The first two lines were joking, the second two serious.
