I will say, while there still should be no excuse for us giving up that many yards on the ground, your statistical excellence makes me feel much better.

Also most of what the defense gave up was in the 2nd half and we were mixin it up pretty good with 1s, 2s, and 3s at that point.

now I thought about this thread fer about 10 hours and 17 minutes now
and give the Huskers a 10 for the win ---thats right I said it a 10

now on performance how can anyone grade that-- I asked myself
they played the worst team in 1-A (from last year)

After watching what a few other schools did on saturday I felt a little better about NU's performance. However we still have a long way to go to be at the level we need to to compete of a conference title which is most everyones goal..

Just from an outside point of view, how would you grade the performance yesterday? (1 to 10) 1= bad 10 = exceptional

Special Teams?

I would do grading of specific players, but I am not sure that this would be relevant in week one!

My thoughts presently until I see replay:

Off: 5
Def: 4
S.T: 5

Pretty basic average play from my point of view!
