That's the sole reason I was hoping they didn't trade for him at any point during this season. He comes off as a MUCH more likeable person than he used to, which I'll give him credit for, but I always had a hard time becoming comfortable with the type of player he might choose to be.

Also, I don't know if this helps Greg Little's chances of sticking around or not but they COULD be less likely to get rid of him now if this holds up. He seemed to be in his last days there before this so this might not affect that. I was kind of hoping the 49ers would pick him up and give him a shot but it's not nearly as good of a fit now and I could name a better option fit wise that's in the draft.

I think a bigger point is we all need to look at the Aldon situation with a more critical eye. He's our potential Gordon......if he doesn't get his act together.

You can be suspended for things besides drugs. Conduct policy covers other behaviors. I wasn't being drug specific.

OK..buy low sell high strategy might be the play here...Call Cleveland now and make a deal for Josh Gordon, redshirt him for a year with his suspension, and roll the dice we can clean him up. Hell, I'd be smoking pot if I had to play in Cleveland...very boring city. They might be desperate enough to sell him cheap... Just saying...risky yes but might help is Crabby leaves after next year...looking at 2015 season here.
