Don't take this as an insult because it isn't meant to be, but I think you should take this test. A lot of people sit on the spectrum. Many, many more than are diagnosed:

I think some number will go to SUNY Buffalo (if there is one) but there are a lot of those in better locations that are just as good if not better.

What else is there in Buffalo if you're not from the area...

At this point, it's well stocked with locals from NYC but I don't understand the appeal of Syracuse otherwise.

Maybe as a decent school with good sports?

It's all very similar and overlapping IMO to some extent in many people. My son has ADHD. I'm convinced I have a touch of the same or ADD because if I need to read something more than like 10 lines long I start reading it as Tom Brady and deflate gate, then I start thinking about the time I went skiing in Europe, then I remember I never went to Europe, then I realize I haven't read a word in the last 5 minutes and need to start all over again...

The OCD has been a very useful tool for me. Most people don't know I have it. Even friends and family. I am able to hide it. I am an engineer and I am able to "see things" - to see patterns in everything. I can walk into a structure and see only what is out of place. Comes in very handy.

That is interesting. Does Charlie Babbitt let you drive the car around slow in the driveway?? Just kidding...what are often looked at as disorders or limitations aren't always. They can be strengths in other ways like you just pointed out and they certainly can be overcome.

My brain works really fast, especially with spatial judgment. I can see through patterns in anything.
Then again, when I'm concentrating, asking me a question is like yelling into a thunderstorm.....
