Goodbye Sizemore!

The Phillies have released Grady Sizemore. Just one of countless left handed bats that Amaro loved. This decision had to come from higher up since the Phillies have to eat over a millon dollars of his contract.
Sizemore was just another example of Amaro hiring retreads to block playing time for younger players.
The worst part was the fact that Amaro forced Ryno to play him. (My opinion). Although the Phillies are not playing well at this time at least Asche is getting at bats while learning left field. I am still amazed at the decisions to consistently bat Galvis 8th while he was hot and bat Sizemore 3rd. Was that a Ryno move or an Amaro move? Ryno has no gonads to lead this team. Where is Billy Martin when you need him?

Ryno is Sandbergs nickname. I don't think Input is allowed from Bowa since it could undermine Sandberg.
Guys like Gillick and Bowa are just collecting paychecks at this point. This organization is full of puppets

Started with that albatross of a contract for lardass and it sent a message that you can come to this team even if you are washed up and get serious cash and not have to do much. We just got rid of one and we had to eat, what, a million of his contract. Frikin Sizemore was a complete waste.

We have a few more just like Sizemore like Aumont, Brown , de Fratus, and Garcia. Just a joke. Come and get lots of money. Nobody cares!! Whewhoo!! Frikin Amaro ought be hung by his nuts on Broad street for what he has done to this franchise and the owner ought be tarred and feathered as well for allowing it to go on.

Wow! The Phillies surprise everyone with a comeback win! Hope that this is a sign of things to come.
Ruf delivers with a game winning walk off hit. Amaro can't punish Ruf by benching him since he has already been benched for the last 10 games or so. But of course he could replace him with Nix!
