Austin and Fisher are unlikely to go anywhere. Dunbar would be fine as a backup and is cheap. Bradford is welcome back at a MUCH reduced rate, otherwise the rest can be shown the door.

Schotty calls an underneath pass to the RB on 4th and forever, lol. What's the point there? If you're giving up, punt. Hill is too old to keep around, Joseph and Wells are awful, and Stacy is at best third on the depth chart right now (maybe can bring a day 3 pick in return via trade).

Of that list, I'd replace Stacy with Pead. But like Shopson said, Fisher and Austin are going nowhere.

I definitely wouldn't be opposed to trading Austin however. The guy has a lot of maturing that he needs to do. Get some value for him while he still has a little because as long as Schottenheimer is here, he's going to be underutilized anyways.

I think Lance Kendricks is a FA. If you ask me, he has quietly become a bust as well. Not much from a former 2nd rd pick.

As much as I hate to say it, I think Shotty will remain here as long as Fisher is the coach. :L

I believe Kendrick's is a very good blocking TE which we need for running formations. Cookie is being paid to be the big play guy.

I don't see Fisher, Schottenhemier, Bradford, or Austin going anywhere. If Schottenhemier goes, we will have to hear again that Bradford has to learn a new offense. So if they get Bradford back with a reduced contract, that may save him. I don't see them giving up on Tavon especially being a first rounder. He has talent but they need to find a way to turn his talent into first round production.

If the Rams need a blocking TE, they have Harkey, Bayer, Justice Cunningham, and Matt Conrath. Kendricks is done here. He has become a liability like so many others.

I don't think Kendricks is done here. He had a bad game yes, but he's been pretty productive for the Rams over the years. Has he lived up to his 2nd round status??? No, but I think there are bigger fish to fry in Rams park. I also believe that with a more competent OC and QB the TE position wouldn't be a topic of discussion.

I agree, I also wouldn't mind if they gave Cooks job to him. Cook was targeted 98 times this year and only caught like 52 passes, that's right about 50%, hes a big target and should have had a ton more catches, but he dropped a ton of passes this year. Kendricks not quite as big, but I think if they used him the same way they are using Cook, he would do a better job than Cook did. Kendricks did lead the team in TDs and he does get open!

As far as I'm concerned you can add Cook to that least of Bye bye's!

I thought Bayer was a receiving TE??? And Conrath was a DT for the rams wasn't he?

Anyways it seems like those young guys didn't get a chance to show what they could do anyways. They could be good TE's or bad. Who knows?????!!!! :yahoo:

Granted Jared Cook gets paid 4x's the $$ that Kendricks makes. But Kendricks is a free agent and I think there are better TE's available for the same amount of $$. Let em walk! Jared Cook on the other hand is under contract until 2017. He would be a huge cap hit if we dump him now. I agree he isnt worth what we are paying him. But were stuck! He is due 8.3 mill in 2015! :L:L

In cooks defense he's been our leading WR even since he's came here. That has to say something with our shitty QB's and Oline. haha.

He has made some nice catches, but for a guy that gets thrown to 100 times, he isn't very productive, 52 catches is pathetic! He was part of the "hands up" group and think when he signed that huge contract he meant "stick em up" cause we was robbed!

jacobarch, Conrath was a DT but converted to TE to make the team and then got hurt.
