Not a fan of the Warriors.

We would be in the shadow of the Golden St. Warriors. That is their name...I would rather not share...especially with the most popular NBA team.

Also, "The Warriors" was a crappy movie. I would always think of the ridiculous vests those guys had to wear.

If they go with this and change the name to Warriors(gonna be pricey $$$$$) we'd have our team back and no matter how much it would cost to get Warriors, Harris would make that money back almost immediately.

Could you imagine the rebrand reveal party where Josh Harris says Washington Warriors and lifts a huge black cloth to reveal this helmet. The place would explode.

Another reason is that I selfishly want to be the best team with the team name. We won't accomplish that for quite sometime.

Well a lot of lip service from us for now. I think the name change if it happens is maybe 2 years away. We all have ideas but I think the HOG will try to do the best they can.

I feel the same about many other issues discussed here. It is why there are forums but in the end I think we have a very good ownership group and I am going to trust them to make good decisions. They all have more experience than we do. That could not be said of Ole What's His Name when he bought the team years ago.

I dont see us ever going back to redskins. I think that ship has sailed. I doubt harris and magic will open up the franchise to criticism and scrutiny. Why would they buy an organization mired in controversy just to go down the same path of snyder?

For the record, i do not believe redskins is meant to offend, harm, or mock native Americans in any shape or fashion. However, the country has changed and continues to change. I believe we need to move on...just my opinion.

I am in the minority and I get it. I see where others are coming from. This is another reason I am not for Warriors. I think it's time for a clean break and a new beginning to start. I am not being oppositional and respect the opposing view.
