I think your family needs to be more Understanding for two reasons. One, it is very rare the lions play a playoff game, and it means a lot to you. Two, football is not like the other major sports playoffs. Theres only one game to watch not a best of 5 or 7 series. You need to talk to her.

As Chief602 could back me on...when she said the people we hung out with in Michigan there would have been a TV in every room the men were in. She is not a sports fan at all, but does understand the importance it plays.
