Mahomes had a great game today. He was hitting nearly all of his passes. Goff was struggling most of the day with his passes over-looking Kupp who was wide-open to force a ball into coverage just to get a completion with Woods. He then missed Woods wide-open as well. Goff still has some things to get better at and that is one of them. It will help if he gets used to all that money and stop thinking about when he is playing. Same goes for Hekker.

Goff will be fine, everyone has an off game. He needs time to gain trust in his new O-line. Their play last week will comfort Goff and he will play better this week. I think both the Rams and the Saints were looking forward to next week and almost lost game one. Drew tossed a redzone pick and struggled the first half. Goff didn't take the time to survey the field but it will be different next week against the Saints.

If we play way better and just stick to McVay ball, I think our chances are pretty good at taking this game. If, however, the D takes-off a series like they did late in the game in Carolina, we will get beat.

Wish we could've been facing the dumpster fire known as the Dolphins week 1 while working off the rust. We could've probably played the 2nd stringers in the 2nd half and still won easily.

Reading that piece by Steven Ruiz sounds like its about a team that is 0-3 not 3-0. You don't win two road games against good defenses and beat the Saints with a bad O-line and QB. I think Mr Ruiz just wants to stir the pot.
