Was the moment too big? He looked like he regressed back to his rookie ways. I'm hoping he grows from the loss and really takes reigns and leads the team, instead of having his head down. I didn't see a much of a leader in his demeanor. He was obviously shook, but he never rallied the troops. I think the Rams need another veteran voice, who has a SB ring or two to help the team next season.

I also believe we should bring in a veteran QB as a mentor for Goff. Tannahill would fit the bill he has been a starter for a while and has seen it all. And he might win a few games if needed. But with QBs at a premium it might be difficult to get one for back up money. :suds:

He looked clueless in the Super Bowl.

He really trended down towards the end of the year. Looking like year one Goff. Was it merely Mcvays system? Is he any good? I honestly question it.

I think McVay is that good, and his system is that good.

Hence why cj anderson and gurley can be interchangeable in his system

I got it. Just talking experience. He is injury prone. But he has been in the league awhile. Just an example. Not alot out there to choose from. :suds:

Well, we do have a QB coach spot available but Tannehill is not McVay's type of coach.

Well I guess we could over think it. I just agree with the OP that a veterans presence might help our young QB.

Or, McVay could hire a QB coach like he had twice before, before both of them left for HC jobs.

Flacco might be a better choice if you could convince him? I think he and Tanny will get about the same $? With Flacco you get that playoff and SB expirience. Just not sure he's willing to be a back up? I guess that depends on what offers he may get?

We could sign Foles again since he's available.
Foles wants a srarting gig. Otherwise he'd stay in Philly for that guarenteed $20M he turned down. Or see if they franchise tag him at 25?
