I don't have the time to research it, but I would truly like to know the Cowboys record when Jimmy and Bill were the coach here, and say the first two years after they left when the next coach was still coaching their players. Compare that to the record of every other year in the Jerry era. I bet the difference would be amazing

Ask and you shall receive....the Cowboys record during the Jimmy Johnson era through 1995 (2 years after he left due to Jerrah)with his players had the Boys at 68-44 including a 1-15 year. The Tuna's era including one year after was 47-33. So under these regimes and the discipline they set up Dallas was 115-77. During the puppet era, the Boyz are 99-109. If you extend Bills era and Jimmy's one more year it gets worse.

The two best...Jimmy and Parcells. One had tremendous success and the other may have if Jerry would have just shut up and let him be...

Thank You Sir. Pretty much says it all. Take out the 1-15 start the first year Jimmy was here and it's 114-62 against 99-109. When Jerry has a great coach in place, who has at least some say in the draft and FA, the Cowboys are a GREAT team. When he doesn't, they suck. It's as simple as that
