Glendale

Glendale is a nice city and has some great communities, including Arrowhead Ranch....which is an awesome golf course near some of the best public schools in the state.

I like Scottsdale also, but Glendale had become a nice area.

I was in Phoenix about 8 weeks ago and stayed in Scottsdale. We drove to the Cards-chiefs game which took us through Scottsdale, past downtown Phoenix and into Glendale and you can't tell where one city stops and the next one begins. It's all joined like one giant place. I basically referred to the whole area as Phoenix and if someone wanted to know where we were staying we'd say Scottsdale.

There is actually a University of Phoenix campus not far from the airport & ASU. That kind of shocked me when I was in Phoenix a few weeks ago.

Santa Clara, not San Jose. Not that it makes a big difference. I'm kind of bummed I'm not living there anymore to get to see it.

If the Raiders had any sense they would have beat the 49ers to the punch. The coliseum is a shit show and they have to cover up the upper deck sections to have any chance at preventing a local black out.

The stadium is in Glendale. Not Phoenix. Crazy how many people get it mixed up.

Glendale is kind of a nobody town that has shot up out of nowhere due to UoP Stadium being built and the Yotes arena. Terrible location for both honestly, but Cards still sellout every game. I think our Governor is from Glendale so she's been pushing the agenda of that city for years now. Kinda annoying.

Downtown PHX/Scottsdale is much nicer. Just thought I'd drop this off for anyone that cares. ha.

Just got back from the Fiesta Bowl. Who cares? It's all connected, unless you have a good GPS, you can't tell when you leave one town to the other. Phoenix as a rule is a bad town getting worse, the rich and the tourists go to Scotsdale, Tempe, or one of the other suburbs, just like every other big city.

Besides, the name of the stadium is a farce, University of Phoenix? It's an online university only slightly better than a diploma mill.

Never been there,when i lived in LA everyone called them "Zoners" the place looks brown and dusty,not my thing personally,heard the winters are nice though.
