You know it's funny, I wonder if people would have the same opinion if The Pens or the Caps were to play the Hawks! I mean the Hawks are clearly a better team than even the Pens and Caps on paper, I mean they are younger and faster and play a better puck control game, so they would be favorites right?

Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit! If the games were played on paper than yeah some of these teams would have an edge.But since their not I think either Montreal or Philly have just as good of a chance as the Hawks!

The OP probably never thought the Giants stood a chance against the Pats either!

Elocomotive the Flyers Fan Pocket Handbook tells you to never give up (despite the fact that I did in the Bruins Game 7.) Judging by the heroics (SP?) the Flyers pulled off last round the Sharks are at the dance, the Hawks just asked someone and are waiting for a reply, and the Flyers and Habs like someone and are close to asking.

Everyone is still in it and that is my opinion.

I wasn't upset bro, I was just trying to point out that EVERYONE , me included had Philly playing golf along with Montreal and look at the shit they have pulled off. It's really premature to crown a winner. But I here what your saying and sorry if I came off too strong!

If the hawks win the cup they will have taken full advantage of the small window Tallon and/or Bowman (depending on what you believe) put them in due to the RFA contract fiasco. With the cap issues they face next season this may be the best chance they have to win.

They are going to have to dump salary and sign Niemi. The Huet and Campbell contracts are gonna bite them in the ass.

The Hawks will win the Cup. I predicted them to win before the playoffs started and I think it's going to be even easier on them now.

Thats ok, nobody thought the Flyers would make the playoffs, beat the Devils, beat the Bruins, definitely not come back to win that series. They've been underdogs the entire playoffs. You would be hard pressed to get me to count them out.

Well, help me out here then because I'm curious. If Niemi has been "lights OUT" for Chicago with a 2.35 gaa, .920 sv % and 2 shutouts, then what has Leighton (1.37 gaa, .950 sv % and 3 shutouts in half as many games) been for Philadelphia?

You're simply bitter because the Flyers are shutting down the offense that overwhelmed your beloved Pens in the final two games to close them out.
