Me 100%. But I watched a few episodes of Ultraman and liked it. Held my interest until my son made fun of me. Maybe it was my youth and watching the real/fake show that drew my interest but it seemed like a good time waster.

How they get out each sticky wickit is so much fun and the shootem up bang bang is pretty fun too.

Last kingdom is also fun violency show. Marco Polo was too.

It was good. Thought they were gonna go ham with all the gay sex but that was really only for a couple episodes. I have a hunch someone told them to get to the point of the story and it finished really wel. Like you said, not a great one but a really good one.

I was a bit disappointed with the finale..

It was obviously headed for a happy ending. After all, that was the name of the episode. That was ok, as was the whole reinvention of the history of the era so that the "good guys" win. Tarantino did something similar with his latest about Hollywood and the Manson murders. But it was all a bit too much for me. I could tell that they were all going to win and walk happily off into the sunset very early in the episode and from there it was just a matter of watching it all play out very predictably. A different ending would have been much more interesting to me, but that is not the movie he wanted to make. He wanted the fantasy/happy ending where all of the marginalized folks get their way. So that's what he did.

Overall I did enjoy it, though.

I preferred Last Kingdom, but I've read all the books. Fascinating time period (King Alfred and beyond).

Just started watching Ozark. Looks very promising. If you haven't seen Dexter, that's a good one as well. I binge watched The Witcher and Mandalorian not long ago. Pretty damned good both.
