I am going to get tons of these down on paper for my brother. He just got transferred to a rehab/medical place. He cant hardly move so we are getting him a tablet and hook up for his bed so he can facetime and watch movies and series. He will be there for a long time with all his injuries

Godless...Netflix series, only 7episodes. Jeff Daniels, Jack O'Connell (Unbroken). Really good western where Daniels is the leader of a 30 man group looking for one of his guys, that he raised as his son, that took money from a train heist. Daniels is one bad dude. 8/10

13 Reasons Why is back. Seems like that was quick, maybe it's just me. Watched the 1st episode last night and it was ok...nothing to spectacular. Hope it gets good but not counting on it.

I watched a few episodes of Snowpiercer on netflix last night (Same as the movie, but now a series).

Like with the movie, I struggle to comprehend that each train car is different, how they connect with one another, and how people travel between them when one car has issues. I find myself often distracted by this concept, which interferes with my ability to enjoy the show.

Acting is good in some roles, and bad in others. Not a fan of Jennifer Connelly's acting chops in this program. She is a poor fit for her role.

I'll probably power through this one anyway, unless something better distracts me. I'm a fan of the dystopian genre.

Uploaded on Amazon.

People who are about to die can be uploaded to a data network/AI where you can live forever as an entity in an artificial world.

Surprisingly good.

If you can get Britbox or Acorn, try "Janet King." If you like Law and Order, this will be right up your alley. Each season follows a specific case. Very well done.

I love Britbox, especially Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett.

Yep, that version--in my humble opinion--most closely matches the character Doyle created.

My wife and I were addicted to "Poldark." Wasn't really crazy with the way it ended, but at least it left it open to return if they wanted to revise it.

I haven't seen the last season. You should try Indian Summers.

Working on umbrella academy. Through three episodes so far I’m digging it. They’ve done an impressive job of making it gritty with a PG-13 rating. Writers ripped a couple things off from other movies and shows that we’re a little too obvious for my liking.

I watched some of the good wife meh

I hadn't suggested "The Americans" yet because I wasn't sure how much time you wanted to put in but if you're settling for the likes of "The Good Wife" I really have to step in. It's 75 episodes so probably 60 hours or so.

My daughter has been visiting and tried to turn me on to 2 new ones. Pose made me want to run screaming from the room about 10 minutes in, but I made it through 1 entire episode. That was more than enough.

But the other one, Sex Education, has me hooked. It's British and a very milfy Gillian Anderson is one of the leads as a divorced sex therapist. Her 16 YO son shares her skills and helps his classmates with their relationship issues for money. He has his own issues as well. The acting & dialog are uniformly excellent. It's about relationships, but and it handles them in funny & interesting ways. Netflix.

Definitely worth it. First season is GREAT. First 3 seasons are worth it alone. Only watched that one episode of season 4 so can't give my opinion on that last season.
