This seems to be gaining traction. Withholding funds from other NFL owners. Redirecting those monies to "other" events held and withholding fan deposit and continually making those customers jump through hoops of any hope in a return of the deposit for season tickets.

If ALL sponsors would simply remove themselves immediately, and I'm sure by now 2/3 vote by owners would more than likely happen, this POS would/will be gone in a matter of months after the forced sale. How nice would it be to have a new owner in place by the start of this season!?

Sheehan said this morning that the guy (forgot his name) has spreadsheets.

Former VP of Sales Jason Friedman

The committee in the letter shared spreadsheet data showing evidence of deposits that were not returned. Citing emails and the testimony of longtime vice president of sales and customer service Jason Friedman, ticket sales from Washington games were shifted to a 2013 Kenny Chesney concert and a 2014 Navy-Notre Dame college football game as a way to “juice” revenue and keep it off the books shared with the NFL.

I don’t believe a word that comes from Jason Friedman. A lot of upset girlfriend syndrome going on there. Even worse now that his lies about the sexual stuff didn’t do the trick

I don't think you need to believe him. There is evidence to support his claims AND, the FTC has evidence as well. Hoping this cooks him.

Can someone explain this to me as if I'm a 5th grader?

If true, Dan broke the collective bargaining agreement right? What he did could be classified as embezzlement no?

I don't know if the NFL has a CBA between teams, and embezzlement is taking company money and pocketing it.

I'm not sure you can embezzle from yourself. Maybe.

Tax evasion is the easy charge.

If he's stealing profit share from the other owners, isn't that some form of embezzlement?

It has to do with the agreement the owners / CBA. Teams have to share their proceeds of the gate with the visiting team because they are a part of the entertainment and “ attraction”

Not truthfully reporting the money means he took rightful earnings from other teams
