Not too much to question really. I see a 1 game for sure on this. BTW I blame Lavy for this. He needed to calm his team down and re-focus on playing to win not run around crying about penalties.
Hartnell was a crying bitch (probably rightfully so) and it grew from there. Lavy was screaming at the refs all night and that rubs off on the team.

Right call, but yeah I'm with everyone on the 'holy inconsistency' gripe.

Seems to me the only thing the league really cares about is in play headshots. In a scrum (Weber) or high but without head targeting (OV) barely get looked at.

That's another reason why the Weber non suspension is so puzzling. When he didn't suspend Weber he said it was because Weber had no prior history and Zetterberg wasn't injured.. Giroux had no prior history and Zubrus wasn't injured. So Shanny, which fucking one is it?????

yeah he clipped the chin, but how much lateral force from your shoulder can you get skating up beside a guy?

Zubs clearly wasn't anticipating a hit, especially to the chin. Giroux probably got him good with the shoulder and knocked/shocked Zubs back. When you get hit by an unexpectated blow(especially to the face) it will shake the body.

Because it was primarily to the shoulder? Malkin on Grossman would be a better comparison, but it wasn't a very clear video.
