lol

I saw that a couple of days ago. I guess Giroux is taking "chirping" to the next level.
I have no idea what that is all about; it's probably best left that way.

I thought I read somewhere that they were buds. Although once you hit the ice, all bets are off, I suppose.

i'm hearing a pigeon is someone who benefits from better, more talented linemates, aka 'Kunitzing'.

even if it was just razzing, giroux certainly doesn't have a friendly razz voice haha

Guess Giroux is upset that they traded away the best winger he could have played with for an overrated Luke Schenn.

Dude get it over, every time someone mentions JVR and it's anything related to the Flyers, they have to mention the trade - it's annoying

We all get it, it wasn't a good trade, but people don't have to continue to take jabs - and Claude Giroux is doing just fine with Jake Voracek and Michael Raffl - that line has been great the last month or so

Well JVR and that trade go hand and hand, come on now Marcus, you know this lol

If they are ''so close'' as everybody says, why the chirping? Seems to me Giroux is still a bit bitter over the trade.

If Sid did this to anyone, hockey fans would say he's an immature classless POS, but if Giroux does it then it's just fine.

I must say, back when I had season tickets and you get to see more of the after play stuff, Philly fans need to settle down with the Sid is a whiner talk. Giroux was far and away, not even close, the biggest crybaby of all the teams I saw. Particularly in the 2012 playoff series, every single whistle he immediately made a b line to the nearest official. Every single time there was contact against him he'd start barking at the refs. Giroux is the biggest whiner in the NHL in my opinion.

Because G had a broken wrist in that series, teams kept going after it intentionally - especially when the Penguins were playing - Crosby slashed in him the wrist, which apparently caused it to break or whatever it might have happened

Just for the record, I have no problems with what Giroux did (although I do find it unnecessary, unsportsmanlike, & immature). I just think there's a double standard here where certain players are held to a higher standard than others. Maybe if Giroux wasn't a captain I could understand him acting like that, but as a captain he should be held to higher standards, like other captains would be.

At least he didn't go full Trottier and Stevens (warning: NSFW language)
