Muhamad Sanu went for a 2nd round given by your favorite team.

Denver got 3rd and 4th round picks for shipping off Emanuel Sanders to the 49'ers.

Dolphins r*ped the Texans for 1st round picks in 2020/2021 and a 2nd round 2020 for LT Tunsil and WR Kenny Stills.

The only dumbass who didn't get enough in a trade to date is BQ when he gave up a 7th round pick and Diggs for a 5th round pick in return.

Told you a 4th would be overpaying. A conditional 6th was all they got. We could have traded our conditional 5th and got him.

Ugh! He would fit in perfectly here going forward.

Even though I liked this idea, BQ shouldn't be buying at this time, imo. We're 4 games behind those cheese curds and 3 games behind those sailing guys. Trading for a RB and giving up a draft pick doesn't bode well when this team already struggles to open holes so what good would it do giving up that draft pick (BQ will probably blow the pick next draft anyways but it's smarter to keep it at this time. It'd be different if this team was 5-2-1 instead of 3-3-1, imo.)

I have a feeling we'll be needing that conditional 6th for a LS that'll be cut by camps end or another worthless, project QB that'll be taking up space on the practice squad that Hoodie ends up stealing. Those two possibilities excite me more than finding a replacement for our oft-injured RB that BQ spent two picks on and probably won't do shit next year again cuz he'll be hurt (Imagine that).

Snap counts: Detroit’s young secondary gets tested vs. Giants

Graham Glasgow played a career-low 65 percent of snaps this week. You could read that one of two ways: Either the Lions want Wiggins in there for Glasgow more than they want Wiggins in for Joe Dahl, or this was just happenstance. Usually Wiggins comes in for a drive, and it’s possible his drives in replacement for Glasgow simply lasted longer than when he was in for Dahl.

BB_72: This is such a Bullshit move by MP/Bevell/Davidson bringing in Wiggins for Glasgow. I don't see how it constitutes any chemistry and cohesion in OL play.

If BQ isn't going to re-sign Glasgow (which is idiotic as he's the most versatile of all our OL) then he might as well trade him now too should any team be looking for this type of a versatile OL. If BQ doesn't re-sign Glasgow and let's him walk next march, the most BQ could get for him in a comp pick in 2021 is a 4th rd.

I've lost all trust and faith with just about any transaction BQ/MP have made since roster cut down or non-transaction they haven't made.

Lions' Tracy Walker day to day with knee injury, status uncertain vs. Raiders

Tracy Walker is day to day with a knee injury he suffered in Sunday's 31-26 win over the New York Giants.

"We’ll take another look at him tomorrow, but right now he’s day by day and we’ll just see how he progresses through the week and go from there," Lions coach Matt Patricia said in a conference call Monday. "It’s truly just day by day and see what he looks like as we go forward."

Walker injured his knee with 4:54 to play in the third quarter when he stumbled backward after colliding with teammate Christian Jones while trying to shake loose from a Giants receiver on a pick route.

Lions' Tracy Walker day to day with knee injury, status uncertain vs. Raiders

Along with Walker's injury, Patricia said right guard Graham Glasgow was dealing with a "minor" injury that kept him out of most of Sunday's fourth quarter.

Glasgow has started every game this season, though the Lions continue to give backup Kenny Wiggins time at both guard spots in games. Wiggins played most of the fourth quarter against the Giants.

"It might have been something minor, but nothing really to report from that standpoint," Patricia said. "Kind of just felt those guys during the game that, that was the situation they had, and they just wanted to stay with the rotation.”

TIM AND MIKE: Week 8 observations

Tough day at CB: Cornerbacks Justin Coleman and Rashaan Melvin have been pretty good all year long for the Lions, but Sunday definitely wasn’t their day. Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones was a perfect 4-for-4 targeting Melvin for 70 yards and three touchdowns. That’s good for a passer rating of 158.3. Jones completed 10 of his 11 throws with Coleman in coverage for 122 yards and a 112.9 rating. The Lions certainly missed Pro Bowler Darius Slay, who was inactive with a hamstring injury. – Tim Twentyman

TIM AND MIKE: Week 8 observations

Beware of the blitz: According to Pro Football Focus statistics, the Giants blitzed Stafford on eight of his drop backs. They sacked him twice. The other six times Stafford was 6-of-6 passing for 123 yards (20.5 average) with a touchdown and a passer rating of 158.3. – Tim Twentyman

KEY QUESTIONS: How does this week's trade deadline affect Lions?

How is safety Tracy Walker’s health after leaving Sunday with a knee injury?

Walker left in the third quarter and did not return.

“As far as Tracy is concerned, we’ll take another look at him tomorrow, but right now he is day by day,” Patricia said. “And we’ll just see how he progresses through the week and go from there.”

Walker is Detroit’s leading tackler on the season (56), and is the first defensive back in the NFL since 2012 to post at least 55 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble in a team’s first seven games.

The second half of that statement is BS. All that means is that Coleman was on the field. That was not directly against him. Useless stat.

Melvin had a terrible day. It happens. Although the defense scheme was a little more diverse this week they still need to mix up the coverages more.

Lions sign CB Michael Jackson, release RB Paul Perkins

When Steve Longa was promoted to the practice squad on Saturday, the Lions did not fill his vacated spot at the time. But today, offensive lineman Casey Tucker was signed to do just that. Tucker started games at both tackle and both guard spots while in college at Stanford and Arizona State. He is highly intelligent and looks the part, but his lack of athleticism has held him back.
