The Giants/Cowboys game Sunday night last year broke rating records so it was probably an easy call for them to have that game lead off next season.

Thanks. My baby was born last April so that seems so long ago, yet the year has gone by so fast. I remember them announcing the schedule during the lockout and then it being forever until the season started, so I falsely remembered it being released in or before March. I'm so happy we don't have to go through that again this summer, and I don't mean diaper changes.

Not sure, but I think he meant we should have won the Superbowl last year... but then, why the rematch? (I'd take SB + rematch over NFCC loss, of course.) I'd say it should have been Niners and Green Bay at 'Stick - that'd mean we could beat the Packers (some said NYG did us a favor by beating them), won the superbowl, and would have 1 week and a half to prepare for the next team.
