Here are the past winners. Sounds like the curse is a bit overstated. Some of these players had very good or even career seasons after being given this honor. Some of them leave you scratching your head as to why they were even selected (Hillis? Seriously?). Oh well - these types of so called jinxes should not be taken seriously.

its been pretty effective, Megatron got hurt....it was reported he was playing with broken fingers(although he still beasted, lol)

Sherman got hurt too, I think ankle or shoulder.

its just an injury thing, it doesn't always have to be season ending.
I think most of those guys had a minor or major injury during or after madden

As a lions fan, megatron is never not injured. He just usually plays through it
