Giants play their first game on TV Saturday March 8th at 12 noon on CSNBA . Good to have baseball back on TV even though it's a spring training game.

That could be 100% true. Until the last week or so of ST, my belief is that all stats are garbage (mean nothing). Pitchers often come in working on a new pitch, or want to improve an existing pitch, and don't throw at all like they would in a 'real' game. Likewise, batters may want to just try to identify and hit (say) curveballs (or sliders) for the first coupla weeks.

And of course, after that, the SSS means the stats are garbage.
