This article really frustrates. Nothing says confidence like the way the Giants treat Mac . . .
Giants looking for solution in left field

Never mind that his numbers are better than all of Pence, Panik, Longoria and Sandoval. Forget the fact that his arm is strong. Just frustrating.

Look at the bottom of the article:

"Glenn Sattell is a contributor to MLB.com based in Miami."

Dude is not associated with the team and clearly doesn't follow the team much.

Except mlb.com put it as the first article on sfgiants.com. I guess the league needed to make more drama on the team website.

Or looked at the fact that the Giants don’t need more outfields, they just to play the right ones.
It seems outsiders just think the Giants need more outfielders. Maybe the whole roster should be filled with relief pitcher/outfielders. Do you think Panda can play center field?

I never thought I'd see that big ol' guy play SECOND, so why not? :noidea:

I'm joking.

AND took grounders at shortstop. He's at least practiced everywhere but the outfield. He's due. Maybe Mac needs some more time off . . . .
He played the whole game tonight. I’d say he needs at least 2 games to recharge the batteries.

And Pence earned at least 6 more pronto-ABs with his FPOM tonight.

Yup. Full time starters need to rest at least 2 to 3 times a week, and, like you said, when they play an entire game, they need to get at least two days of rest.

Pence's first pitch fly out was spectacular! He needs to play more. Get in his veteran presence groove.
