Brandon Hicks homered off Kershaw and Sandoval made a terrific diving stop down the line at 3rd base as the Giants beat the Dodgers 3-2 in their first meeting of 2014.
Edwin Escobar gave up only 1 run and one hit over three solid innings . Posey hosed Figgins at 2nd base on a steal attempt. Machi earned the save.
The big story was Hicks who took Kershaw out to right center field for a 2 run HR. Impressive shot by Hicks especially when you take Kershaw the other way for the HR.
