Henderson Alvarez was pretty damn good last year, and he's only 24. Doesn't strike guys out, but he limits walks and gets ground balls.

Trout's already over $30MM a year. If you look at his contract, in the free agency years that the Angles bought out Trout will be making $33.25MM per year. If Trout keeps his performance at this level, he could get north of $40MM per season when his FA comes around.

Baseball is rolling in cash - making much more than it ever has - and if the players don't make it, the owners will.

It's really impressive. I was concerned about how he'd react to his contract and having his face shattered. He took a minute to get going, but once he did, he's been a fucking monster.
