You've said VT is going to lose this game in like 2 or 3 different threads already, but have provided no analysis. Why do you see it going that way?
GT is a "strong" team early on because they're playing nobodies. The only decent team they've beaten early since Paul Johnson took over is Clemson in 2009 at home, which is a lot different than starting week 1 in Blacksburg.
Sept results since PJ became GT head coach:
2011: Beat Western Carolina, Mid Tenn State, Kansas, home vs UNC
2010: Beat South Carolina State and UNC. Lost at Kansas (LMAO) and NC state by 17 points.
2009: Beat Jacksonville State, Clemson and UNC at home. Got dominated at Miami.
2008: Beat Jacksonville State, BC, Miss St. Lost at, you guessed it, Virginia Tech.
It's funny that you have LMAO to the loss to Kansas, because the week prior Virginia Tech lost to James Madison. JM went 6-5 in FCS. And that game was in Blacksburg.
I like Virginia Tech in this one...but closer than the experts think! 26-24, Hokies.
