If you have NHL network, then they will show the Sharks game in the case of an overlap.

For Game 2 they did the "live look-in" during the OT intermission of the other game and never went back. Just stayed with the Sharks game for this market. If there's a similar issue I hope they do that again.

Just go old-school and fire up the radio broadcast with Rusanowsky and Baker. They're much better than the national announcers, and if/when the Sharks give up goals, you don't have to suffer the irritation of watching the other team celebrate.

Great idea and I can do this during lecture.

Plus, it's better than listening to a never-ending boring lecture. Used to sit way in the back of the classroom/lecture hall and listen to the local game broadcasts during lectures. Most of the material is in the textbook anyway. Listened to the Giants win the 2010 WS during a boring night class. Most productive class session I ever attended.

Nothing could keep me in class if the Sharks were in the cup finals! Dunno how I forgot about the radio though haha I surely am a product of the 90's I guess.

Nope, I only have game center through nhl.com. Of course that doesnt work in the playoffs.

Look for a game thread here (closer to game time, it's not up yet):

hockey: the best game on earth

It will list streams that you can use (the .m3u8 URLs that you can plug straight into VLC/Quicktime/whatever are the actual official GameCenter feeds and are awesome quality, etc.)

The professor actually took attendance points, so it was important to show up physically (if not mentally), even in the clinching game of the WS. Was tough, though, especially being an older student (or old fart). No problem, the radio has gone the way of the dinosaur. This is the age of technology and rapid innovation. Used to listen to Hank Greenwald do the Giants' play-by-play on KNBR in the 1980's and into the 1990's, until Jon Miller took over for him. Great that Rusanowsky has been with the Sharks since the beginning in 1991.

Jesus. This is the best I have ever seen this team play in all my years. Dominant in all phases.

Thornton is in beast mode. LA has had no answers for that line except to pray Quick can make the save. They have been dominante in all four games this series.

Thornton is a beast in the 1st. Setting up mates left and right. Bank passes to himself. Sharks look great in the 1st. Dare I say the Kings can't skate with the Sharks?
