Win or not that was WAY to close for comfort... Todd is a complete fuckin jackass. I have NO idea why the players even listen to him when he pulls that sit on the lead shit... And wtf was he playing the scrub lines for so many minutes for??! A team doesnt completely outclass the other team for 40 mins then get outshot what? 16-3 in the 3rd -- that falls squarly on coach dipshit...

Meh, all coaches make some sort of defensive adjustments to sit on a lead in the 3rd. It's frustrating as hell to watch but McLellan is no different than any other coach in the league.

Raresy is on fire! I wish I would have been able to see the 3rd period, maybe tonight after the Mrs. passes out, I will flip on the onDemand recording and do some studying. It sounds like the typical Todd BS though, it's discouraging because after so many playoff failures, Todd still doesn't have an answer or a different approach to these late game situations.

I agree that all teams sit on leads but the 4th line should have gotten exactly 0:00 ice time in the 3rd.

I guess looking at the time-on-ice stats, they didn't get much but that minute long shift was a fucking eternity and a half.

Then Burns had that 2:03 minute shift for some fucked up reason.

That last last 10 mins was hard on my heart say the least. Im fucking pumped though, we went down 2-0 on the champs and the 2nd loss was heart breaking and the Sharks have picked themselves up and won 2 straight games! This team is different this year.

Sharks only played 4 games in the first round annddd we will get Torres and hopefully Burish back if we go any deeper into the playoffs! No one will be burned out

I don't mind that they got ice time in the 3rd. You need those players to take some time at that point in the game, especially when you use your top players regularly on the PK. What I didn't like is McLellan willing to match up those 4th liners against the Kings top line. Use them against the Kings 3rd line, not against Kopitar.
