One interesting note about last night:
Jumbo kept his shifts much shorter. He had 31 shifts for just over 23 mins of ice for an average of 46 seconds. Pavs had 27 shifts for just under 21 mins (avg. 46 seconds). Seto had 27 shifts for abou 21 mins (avg. 47 secs). Compare that with patty who had 32 shifts for nearly 27 minutes, an average of nearly 51 seconds.
It doesnt seem like that much of a difference, but 5 seconds longer every shift is big and usually very long shifts wear you down much faster. Maybe that's part of the reason patty really stunk it up, especially as the game wore on. Perhaps, he needs to be more disciplined in keeping his shifts short, particularly for a guy who relies on speed.
