Sharks managed to do it last year vs. Colorado, but I wouldn't bet on it this year. Better win tonight.

Sharks managed to do it last year vs. Colorado, but I wouldn't bet on it this year. Better win tonight.

They did it after blowing a 3 goal lead in game 3 to Calgary in 2008 as well.



I'll be going to the Spokane Chiefs game tonight so you guys will have to go this one without me (I know you're all broken up even if you won't admit it :p). Hopefully the Sharks can take this one and get the series back in their favor, actually skating for the full 60 minutes instead of standing around and watching would be a good place to start.

Yeah, I think that was also the game where Cory Sarich took that shot at Marleau. Unfortunately, they used so much energy winning that series in 7 that they fell into a 3-0 hole against Dallas.

This is just another thing that sums up the Sharks. Forgetting to play desperate Hockey until they are feeling the brink of elimination. Oh the Sharks will fight alright, but it could be 3-1 before they get going in which they always win game 5 and play a 3 overtime heart pouring game 6, which makes you wonder where was this game 1....? LOL

This is a statement game for the Sharks. They don't necessarily have to win this game in order to win this series, but if they put forth an "effort" like they did in game 2, then we can start talking offseason pretty soon because that will show that the team has no mental fortitude, no hunger.

3. Win the battles along the boards
4. Go to the net and generate traffic
5. Enough with the cute/soft/low-percentage passes already (I'm looking at you JT)

None of this existed in game two. This team is capable of doing all of these things. When they play desperate, they have the ability to beat anyone. Such a frustrating team to watch sometimes. Especially in the playoffs.

Big bounce back game tonight but the killer game is the game 5 when a series is tied at 2-2. Whoever wins that game is almost a lock for the series. This is not a must win but it is a must compete. If they play like they did in game two I am going to vomit. Then I am going to drink until I vomit again.
