Wow Jumbo, cmon brotha, you need to stop thinking so hard.

Note to Wallin, Boyle just played that 2 on 1 perfectly.

What a save by Rinne, but it was a pretty easy play to read.

Because no one else has been any more effective.

Terrible pinch there by Mitchell. Should have lead to a 3 on 2 break. Pavs is out there with two black holes.

being on the #1 unit though has a big advantage cuz you always have the whole 2 mins and the offensive zone draw. Why not start out a PP with clowe, couture, marleau, pavs and boyle? just try NOT starting with jumbo and heater...

I agree with this Cmon. I'm not saying anybody else has been more effective, but the above wouldn't hurt any.

Yeah, cuz the forward cutting through the slot it not his man and is clearly less threatening than the pointman... mitchell proving his infinite worth!

Lets try and win a defensive zone faceoff here Jumbo. Come on brotha, start with the basics and work your way back.

Clowe and Couture haven't been able to enter the zone with any consistancy even when they start the PP. Pavs has been next to useless. Boyle does a lot of fancey skating and accomplishes nothing. Marleau gets a couple good shots off every 3rd PP or so other than that he stands next to the net hoping for a rebound and effectively turns the PP into what looks like 4-on-4.

I have not seen a single PP in the last 3 games that has not had jumbo and heater out there at the start... On the PP, guys only change after the puck has been cleared so when the 2nd unit comes on, there's usually about 40 seconds left and they have to get the puck from behind their own net. That's a massive difference in opportunity.

Well, at least this one won't be a total waste like the last two games.
