I remember reading the board a long time ago, and I could never figure out which players were being talked about because posters only used nicknames. Everyone also said "teh" instead of "the," and Bonds was known as Teh Lord.

My mom was a Manwaring and Burkett fan.

I was just talking about this with my wife. She was noticing that this year's team is noticeably better looking than year's past. Compare 2011 to say the last WS team in 2002.

This year she likes Crawford, Torres, Posey, Lopez, Wilson (sans beard), Zito, even Schierholtz.

In 2002 all they had was JT. Then they had a bunch of plug uglies like Santiago, Ortiz, and Bonds, and closet cases like Kent.
