So they will have full contact drills over the weekend then? I don't really know how practices are scheduled. But the way I understand the concussion rules - after 4 days of rest and presumably no I'll effects he needs to then survive non-contact drills and then a full practice. So that's full practice on Saturday?

We could schedule our week differently, I suppose. One day is film day, and/or players day off or whatever. Then have walk throughs in the first four days. Etc. I don't know how it goes now, but if we could do all the things that wouldn't require Smith practicing early, that could help. Then, in the meanwhile, get Kaep ready and not tell anyone who's starting. They could even start Kaep and then put Smith in (though I know they won't).
