Hopefully we win tomorrow and nab the series!

I've seen a lot of pant shatting around the web, but as long as we're winning series, then i see no reason to complain.

Yeah....way too early to pantsshit.

You should have taken BART, then you could have billed for 3-4 hours.

That's a good call....except I'm pretty sure the At Bat app won't work under the bay...

Would you guys recommend Casilla as a fantasy closer?

He should do well in the closer role. Lots of saves, and good era/whip. If that translate to fantasy points, then yes.

Not a bad sleeper

Be mindful that the Giants have other closer options and there's a chance Bochy might mix n match closers depending on the opponent.

This is a big opportunity for him. If he comes in and has success in the closer role, then it's going to translate into a nice FA contract for him at the end of the season. That hike up in pay from fire balling reliever to closer is quite large.

Don't think so....I have him as a Arb4 guy. Super Two, apparently.

Edit: Six FAs this year -- Melky, Franchez, Affeldt, Pagan, Mota, Riot. Wouldn't be surprised to see five go (hopefully Melkman stays). A lot depends on Culberson (Franchez), Runzler (Affeldt), Kieshnick/Peggs (Pagan), Otero/Correa/Kontos/Edlefsen (Mota), and Gillaspie (Riot). But it wouldn't be a stretch to see all five be let go and replaced by farmhands.

(Way too early to be speculating on this but....) Agreed on all accounts. Also add Brown in there for Pagan's replacement and Noonan and as a possible bench player. Could see Franchez back on a 1 year deal if he comes back at some point this season. There will be the inevitable injury, but we have guys (Culberson/Noonan) who can fill in.

But it's fucking April, so many things can change, including someone outside the organization being brought into play 2B (hello Gordon Beckham?) or Burriss may actually step up.

Gordon Beckham's bat makes Crawdad's look like Albert Pujols. Completely serious. The good news is you can probably have Beckham for a pair of gym socks at year end. Beckham is the very definition of a bust, a hot prospect who can't hit ML pitching.

And to think, at draft time, he was a legit #1/#2 overall pick. He was no Matt Bush...

And a cautionary tale re prospects. For all of us hoping Brandon Belt = Will Clark Jr, it's just as likely he equals Todd Linden Jr
