I'm also starting to wonder if the team assumed too early that they had the West. If you think about it, some media and even CSN bay area folks such as Bip Roberts mentioned that the race to the west was already over as recently as last week. Not good form if this was partly the case and a contributing factor in our recent form.

I don't think it's over but the 4/5 game cushion is being used. Much better getting swept and still be 2 games up. Take one vs the dbax and they're still up in the west.

I like the moves the dbacks made at the trade deadline, but they will fade down the stretch.

Nah, your right stokes but I see the series vs the reds in the heat as the exception, not the norm.

The giants have a series like that every so often.
