He cannot do any worse at the plate than Stewart nor Whiteside.

It's not Whiteside's non-existent bat that bothers me. That guy sucks as much behind the dish as he does at the plate. I would be happy with Stewart staying in the bigs despite his lack of a bat because the guy is a solid defensive catcher.

Whiteside is horrible no matter what he's doing. He has no business being in the Majors. And yes, I WOULD rather have Fatty Molina behind the dish tomorrow than see Whiteside again.

I used to think Whitey was a decent defensive catcher, but regular playing has really exposed him as a receiver and as a thrower. Not impressive.
