What does Timmeh average speed wise on his two seamer? I seem to remember him throwing that pitch at 96-97 when he came up, and 93-94 last year.

Either way, 88 mph/bad location/little movement=wet ball.

Hard to say with timmy. Pitch fx has never done a good job identifying the difference between his four-seamer vs. the two-seamer. It shows him consistently throwing a two-seamer faster than a four-seamer, which makes no sense.

Nevertheless, as far as I can tell he's about 1.5 mph slower than when he first came up, on average. He topped out at 95+ in this game.

I really miss those Broxton-Burrell battles, mainly because they often end with a Pat the Bat hit, a Giants win or extra innings, but also because that looks like a pretty fun tongue twister.

When Romo doesn't pitch well, he sucks. Every other time, he's great.

Nice. Not that I favor moving him, but who do you think the Giants could get for Romo and filler (ranked 50th in the org or lower)?

And he can't get a runner in from third with less than two outs. And I don't need stats to prove it.

Timmy stays in to not waste a pen guy, but why?

Edit: see what I mean? Walks the first guy, who's not slow...

Bochy maybe not perfect today...

I was thinking the better play there would have been to PH Panda and then double switch Keppy and Craw with the pitcher slot at that point. If Panda gets out, then Keppy leads off this inning, if he gets on, THEN PH Keppy.

Oh well...

Yeah. I like that plan. Maybe next time? :(

Awesome breaking ball by Kershaw against Torres. To state the obvious: this guy is impressive.
