I don't get the Ross hate...he's no allstar but he's about our 3rd best healthy hitter...

I like Ross. Just difficult to get excited about the top and middle of the order coming up in a tight game when those are the batters due up.

Ross is what he is. His shortcomings wouldn't be so glaring if Posey and Panda were in there and Huff was performing.

No hate here. He is doing exactly what I thought he would and has for the majority of his career. For others, it must stem from unreasonable expectations based on his clutch performance in the playoffs. He is definitely an extremely solid 3rd or 4th outfielder in the majors. No more, no less.

I didn't take it as hate, but rather just stating reality. Pablo is the Giants only legitimate middle of the order bat.

What does Timmeh average speed wise on his two seamer? I seem to remember him throwing that pitch at 96-97 when he came up, and 93-94 last year.

Either way, 88 mph/bad location/little movement=wet ball.
