Season over guys. It was fune while it lasted. But plain and simple without Freddy and Posey. This team flat out sucks on offense. Maybe in the offseason they will grow a pair and learn how to hit a baseball in play. The 2011 Giants offense (excluding posey and Freddy) was an embarrasment to the name of the Giants. They owe Bruce Bochy, the pitching staff, and the fans an apology for their atrocious historically bad performance

I don't think anyone owes anyone an apology I means that's baseball it happens, like you said Posey and Sanchez being gone hurt alot.

Kind of the way this season has gone....biggest game of the year, must win, and the guy who owns the eighth inning, arguable the best reliever in the league, leaves the team because his wife is in labor. And no one picked him up - the way Huff, Torres, and Ross did not pick up Posey and Sanchez.

The loss of Buster and Freddy definitely hurt this team but it is not the sole issue that we have. me injuries. We had horrible offense from Ross, Huff and IMO Torres was the leader in that catagory. We also missed Uribe's bat. We got nothing from our SS position. That's 4 of the 8 offensive positions with little or no contribution. Now throw in Whiteside and anything pre Keppinger. That makes 6 of 8 positions struggling. The off season will be interesting. There are a lot of holes to fill. My fear there are way to many for us to address. We need at least 2 or 3 solid signings. IMO we need a leadoff hitter badly.
