Did you see his post the other day about being a volunteer for Latino Literacy? I just about fell out of my chair! The thought of Tito teaching literacy to anyone is like Biedrins teaching players how to shoot free throws.

What's your theory about why they won't give him a shot out there? Imagine how huge it would be for the Giants (and for Nate's future earning power) if he developed into even an average defensive center fielder.

He was moved to RF pretty late in the minors from 3B. My guess is having Rowand and then Torres has made it pretty easy to keep him in RF. Alternately, he may not get the best first jump on flyballs, and that hurts more in CF than the corners.

I saw that, too. Wonder who was calling for it. Seemed like Belt fielded it, but Ross ran right in front of him as the ball got there.
