Tracking the starter's outings:

13 consecutive good starts since Timmah had that rough outing in Denver. Prior to that, ten consecutive good starts after Vogs meltdown in New York. And prior to THAT, nine consecutive good starts after Cain and Bum had back to back poor outings at Denver and vs. Atlanta respectively. All in all, 27 of 29 good games from this staff.

That's fucking amazing.

Whats the criteria for a "good game"?

Romo in to finish it. You've gotta think Weez gets used tomorrow unless Vogs throws a CG.

PQS >= 3. In the last 34 games (including today):

PQS of 5: 16
PQS of 4: 11
PQS of 3: 5
PQS < 3: 2

PQS of 4 or 5 are considered "dominant" starts. PQS of 3 is average. PQS of 1 or 2 is considered "disaster."

27 of 34 dominant starts. That's pretty amazing.

Romo seals it. Right on; 2-2 on the road trip so far. We get a struggling Carpenter tomorrow. Let's hope two things:

1. Vogs continues to pitch well; and
2. PTB is in the starting lineup. He OWNS Carp.

There's our formula for winning. Hit a grand slam, we win.

Even though this is sarcastic (right?), this probably isn't far from the truth. If the Giants hit a grand slam, I'll be our chances of winning are pretty damn good.

You're right. With our pitching, I'm confident we will win most of the time if we score 4 runs.

Glad I got to catch the tail-end of this one after getting back from camping. Looks like Saturday and Sunday were a little rough, so I'm glad we played whiffle ball instead. For those wondering, Spoons beat Forks 5-4 on a solo shot in the bottom of the tenth.

Hey Robotech, do u like robotech anime?

I love the Robotech anime series from the 1980s. I watched it as a child in the 1980s, but I didn't watch the entire series until freshman year in college. I didn't really give it much thought when I picked the name as I was registering on the ESPN boards many years ago. I just needed a name and robotech just popped into my head. However, I'm glad I picked it because it does have a certain nostalgic value for me.

And it's a cool name. I'll have to check out the anime. I have buddies that are way into Dragonball-Z and a few others, but it never really grabbed me. Time to see what all the fuss is about. No seizures with Robotech, right?:badmin:

Robotech (even though they did have a tranny as one of the main character -- How weird was that for an early 80s cartoon?) and Star Blazers (My personal fave) were the really the only ones I watched...

Thanks, Heath. LOL. No, I don't remember seeing any seizure warnings for Robotech. You should check it out. It really is an excellent series. I believe the target audience was children when it was first aired in the 1980s, but the series really covers a lot of serious themes such as dealing with death, the horrors of war, prejudice, the clash of cultures, and sacrificing yourself for the greater good. There's even romance for you softies that are into that kind of thing. LOL.

Yeah robotech was like a cartoon soap opera, many different emotions.

Can't wait till they decide to finish up the shadow series.
