We shall see, but I think he has a shot at a better outcome than fellow AAAA type pitcher Ryan Sadowski had. Volegelsong has good stuff and was a former high draft pick. He might be a late bloomer.

I wonder how many cases there are in which a high draft choice figures it out in his 30s.

My head tells me that Vogelsong's success can't possibly continue, but my eyes tell me the guy is for real. A lot of quality pitches, with strikeout stuff, and the ability to pitch out of jams and under pressure.

My head AND eyes tell me he HAS to be better than Zito. That might be the only thing that counts at this point.

It's possible, but he's always had good stuff. I just don't know how long his control will be decent, his numbers now are better than his career minor league numbers.

He also had success in Japan, didnt he? So you can't necessarily say he did not have any before this year, he just didnt do it here.

Yeah me too, when they play each other I root Red Sox. But it's a lot closer to equal hate since they won their championships.

Funny thing is, I generally like their players. Rivera is one of my all time favorite players, Jeter's great, I like Swisher, Needsabathia, etc. But the organization is the Death Star.

Nature or nurture?

Spanks fans were born douche bags. Sox fans just learned to be douche bags in the last 8 years.

Have a good one guys.
