Belt moving up the lineup.

It would be nice to get the first game so that we would only have to win 1 of the remaining 3 to get a split. Hopefully Zito gives us a chance.

I'll start to get worried if he doesn't catch Voges or MadBum. In the mean time, fuck those racially insensitive fucks! 5-4 Good Guys!

You know, I was thinking that if Zito can just hold them to 4 runs, we'd have a chance. Looks like we're thinking along the same lines.

Speaking of worrying, how worried are you guys about Vogey? Marty Lurie said he looks like he has a tired arm. With Lincecum and Zito still unreliable, we can't afford to have three shaky starters.

Not too worried yet. He's been kind of BABIP'ed to death the last two starts. That said, he hasn't looked quite as sharp the last two starts either as he had the rest of the year. If he has another really shaky outing, then I'll start to get worried.

I think he was derailed by a couple of bad calls and some poor routes to balls in his last couple of starts. Out of the "3 worries" (though, Cainer and MadBum are certainly capable of throwing up some clunkers being human and all), Voges still worries me the least. His game is built on accuracy. He knows exactly what he is capable of, and what he isn't. He is a more reliable innings eater than Zito or Timmy this season, and that is still all they require from him. Even with recent struggles, I am confident that Vogelsong will get at least 6 innings out of every game with the opposing team scoring less than 4 runs. Of course, looking tired in August is scary, but to be expected.

Good luck man, but not too much :D.

Lol. I feel the same to you all too!

LOL, I'll be content with a 2-2 split if you are, too.

We have strugged scoring runs lately. Getting some runners on but terrible getting them home. I would rather see 3-1 Braves but split wouldnt surprise me.

Yep, and having an effective lead-off hitter can make all the difference in the world in a pennant race. Now if we can find a reliable closer....

Man, Pence is horrible...Any chance they dump him in the offseason if this continues?

BTW: Ross just hit his 19th homer. Apparently it's next to impossible for the Giants to trade for him, but wouldn't it be sweet to bring him back?
