He has little to no faith in himself to get a hit when he swings the bat right now, and he isn't going to get veteran calls at the plate. Plus, he should probably notice that being taller than a lot of professional baseball players makes his strike zone seem bigger to most umps. I agree that he just needs to swing the bat, but that is all mental and raking in Fresno can really help a guys' psyche. I liked the plan of starting him down there at the beginning of the year, but that was pre-Huff implosion. However, a Pill/Sanchez/Posey platoon for a month doesn't seem like such a bad plan to me right now, either.
